There’s been a lot of fuss around the BlackBerry Bold 9790 after Research In Motion finally made the official announcement of the BlackBerry 7 smartphone. Right after the press release issued on November 15, carriers all around have started jumping aboard on the Bellagio train. Canadian operator Rogers posted an announcement reporting that the Bold 9790 will reach their shelves right in time for the holidays, so if you’re looking for gift ideas, you should consider adding RIM’s handset on the list. No specific release date or price plans, though.

Rogers was most likely planning this a long time ago, because the post appeared right on November 15, just after RIM’s press release. It seems that November 15 was quite a busy day for RIM. On that very same date, Telus also expressed their interest in selling the Bold 9790 and, moreover, the Curve 9380 also. By the way Rogers, any plans for the 9380 as well? It would surely be a nice touch bringing the complete BlackBerry 7 9790-9380 duo on board.

It’s funny though, to see these many carriers that will sell the Bold 9790, since no further than a week ago everybody was convinced that the Bellagio would land exclusively in Indonesia. Oh, by the way, Bell is also going the launch the 9790 on December 2nd.
